went for TDP camp briefing yesterday; found out that the top 60 for scholarship interview were chosen. 50-50 chance of getting scholarship. holycrap. i've got to start praying everyday.
only one from my course. ): most came from bs, bfs, at & mcm. the "hot" courses.
so that marked the start of 3 years in the TDP(talent development programme);
the camp does sound fun & i hope i'll have a rocking good time. :D

the singapore symphony orchestra concert last night was pretty interesting. although the seats we had were a little cramp. i likeeeeeeee. i want to learn violin!

common test is like 1day+ away. & i haven't exactly started. good luck man. & i've got yet another busy saturday. no good no good.

time to hit the books before i go out.

i miss MES. i so freaking love the people there, & i can't wait for the next meeting on the 6th!

i've been so busy recently that i don't even have the time to blog, now im finally in school, & able to nip some time off to blog! (although im supposed to be doing my math tutorial);

i met angus while queueing for the hg shuttle yesterday, & so schooled with him! (: he's my "eye candy" cause he's the first guy i know from DB. heh. was supposed to be sleeping in the bus, but we chatted throughout & joe complained that we were noisy.
dancesports was fun! but twas pretty challenging. i likeee! dancesports has got the np sports jacket too! oh-i-so-freaking want one of those jacket! ):

CATS was kinda screwed? i think. i was like not too sure of what to do yea?
ohyes, we were discussing that night. terence is officially declared as the "bus-stop cheekopei"!
ohwell.
met up with some german lesson friends after that, discussed about roleplay, & thn went to slack around with maxine, collected blazers & met onto angus there again! thn waited awhile before heading to cc. angus was working near me again! hahaha. he told me in the morning that we'll somehow be working tgt cause he's A3, & im A4! :D
handled some VIP reception, pretty slacky cause we could sit & enjoy aircon, & there weren't many VIPs.
went in to watch the grad ceremony after that.

i met jowell at serangoon mrt today! & he didn't recognise me. ):
until i said "JIAYI" & he was like "ohhhh, hello!"

i feel like so totally exhausted this week.
basically, tmr i'll be ending lessons at 8,
thursday because of the usher duty, i'll most prolly like end at 6:30;
friday, i've got the symphony concert at night, so its late again.
& i hope i don't fall asleep in the concert, for im seriously exhausted.
yes; & i feel so totally stressed up now, so many things due + CT next week;
im doing the last minute grabbing buddha's leg AGAIN.
plus i've got a bunch of smart classmates.

ohyes; today's 8am lesson was cancelled. so my lesson was supposed to be 10.
& i reached school at 7.20! like . waste my sleeping time la.

ohyes, the block 56 pond area feels like aircon these days. feels super nice when i walk pass, especially in the morning.

hello! i know i was supposed to blog yesterday.
but i was too tired when i reached home. in fact, i still feel the same today, but i managed to drag myself to my laptop. i reached home like at 8 today because of the MES main committee meeting, it was draggy, & the room was like so hot. but i like the people there. (: ok, 1year of secretary work ahead! be it yay or boo. im happy to be in the mc! heh.

so anws, me & maxine wore our secondary school uniform to school today. & i forgot to camwhore! how could i?!
how ironic huh, in secondary school we were like hoping for days when we don't have to wear uniform to school. & now in poly, we choose to wear uniform instead. weird?

2 embarrasing events today. ( or you can say 2.5)
0.5 because although maxine wore her uniform, but her jacket covers like majority. so she doesn't look like she's wearing uniform, & so this group of guys who came down from the lift when we were going for math lesson kept staring. like.... haven't you seen anyone in school uniform before?! so whats your problem man.

1. while i was on 151 today. behind hand-wise handicapped (because i had my phone in one, laptop in the other), i was unable to grab on to anything. so......... when the bus suddenly braked.
i like totally squashed the poor guy beside me. whoops. uh-oh.
2. & then while was waiting for 153 at tpy, i saw 154 coming along. & i saw this jam-looking girl.
& so from my sitting position, i dashed out to the bus door & shouted "JAMIE!", to my horror, i realised it wasn't her! i was like totally embarrased. double whoops. double uh-oh.

i did 2 good deeds this week, i shall do more!
1. i donated $10 to the sichuan relief fund
2. i gave up a bus seat to an old aged uncle! (weirdly, instead of him thanking me, his wife did it for him. -.-)

& talking about giving up seats. it seems that singaporeans do not give up seats to those more in need. i think i've only seen like 1/10000 giving up their seats. talk about courtesy. singaporeans, courtesy, do you have it? touch your heart & ask yourself. have you like pretended not to notice an elderly who needs a seat just because you feel really tired, & in your heart, you feel you deserve the seat you're on. thats bullshit. wait till you reach that age, & you'll know the feelings of those elderly or pregnant ladies(doesn't apply to guys thou). so, courtesy man!
note: maybe if you really want to fake it, try not to see on the seats marked to be given up to those who need it. ohyes, btw, i do admit that i was one of those selfish ones who pretend pretend pretend. but, not anymore!

not a very fantastic post today yes? internal battery in me is almost flat! & i've still got cca tmr. gotta run. i promise i'll be back with a better post. (:

2nd post! im here to blog about the aftermath of the sichuan earthquake.

just a few days back, it appeared on the news that some people were using the sichuan earthquake relief fund as a phony to cheat people to donate & then the schemers pocket the money themselves. i was thinking, these bastards, don't they have a heart at all? worst still, they are china people, hello; its your own countrymates! wth are you thinking! instead of lending a helping hand to those affected by the disaster, there you are cheating people of their money & using the earthquake in name. barbaric, i'll say.

secondly, its about the 2 messages that are going around in msn.

1. "hey.please add a rainbow in front of your nickname... msn will donate $ to si chuan people affected by the terrible earthquake..http://info.msn.com.cn/caihong/rainbow.html"

2. "REMOVE ALL RAINBOWS ITS A HACKING PROGRAMME, MY FRIEND'S 2 OTHER FRIENDS GOT HACKED ALREADY!"

basically i searched on the internet. & im positive the first one is true. although it is applicable only to msn china. msn china will donate rmb0.20 for every rainbow. non msnchina members are not included.

the latter, i bet its some fucking anti-china jackass who came up with that. to prevent msnchina from donating more to the relief funds. up till now, i don't think just a rainbow in front of your msn nic will allow others to hack. because i have not seen any instances yet. prove me wrong anyone?

hellooooo! im back!
i actually have some pictures to post, but im lazyyyyy.
i got my gorgeous pink viewty on saturday!
im not exactly a fan of pink, but my viewty in pink just rocks la.
the only setback was that i had to pay it myself.
& m1's price is still more pricey thn other service providers.
but i like i like i likeeeeeeeeeee! (:
now now, pink fans out there, don't get too jealous k. :D

i was reading some article about ugly singaporeans. the singaporean man who was in sichuan when the quake happened & upon setting his foot on singapore and getting interviewed, he complained of delays at the airport because there was a need to save the casualties, etc.
COMPLAINED. yes, thats the word. ever wondered why this educated yet pampered singaporean complained so much? what in the freaking world is with singapore such that singaporeans love complaining so much. have we been brought up with such a trait that has been inculcated into us since young? now, stop being so arrogant & acting like a know-it-all. the world is so big. how much of it have we seen only?
i have a number of friends who are anti MI-s. Live & let live, thats what i have to say. what do you gain going against them?

i saw 3 grotesque, irritating, unglam, ugly singaporean today
& they are all men;

man nummer eins: "the Freaking man"
this morning while i was waiting for the NP shuttle bus together with joe @ hougang
there was this freaking guy queuing some few space behind us.
it was peaceful at first, & when his friend arrived, it started:
"freaks la. ytd's match was freaking .... "
"our cheerleaders were like freaking..."
"freaking hell. they played freaking sucky la..."
"freak. SA's defence was like so freaking weak... "
& i can't help but believe that he said more than 20 freak just during that short period.

man nummer zwei: "the bus stop lao ji ko pei"
after my 2nd scholarship interview today, i homed on my own.
& so i dropped off at jalan toa payoh as usual.
was so happy to see a space available at the bus stop so being a typical singaporean i dashed towards it & heaved my big bulky bag onto my lap. (glad that i found a place.)
& thn this fucking lao ah bei sitting beside me was like peeping into my front.
(because my button is like slightly lower so slightly more open, but theres nothing much to see actually. just my tube)
& he like kept trying to peep in. fucker. i was like trying to sit up straight so that he sees nothing but his fucking horny eyes kept following. knn. after that still put his hand on the backing behind me. neh neh. lucky he nv touch me ah. if not i'll make sure i slap him right there & then.
& after that while boarding the bus i saw his hand on some primary school girl, faking to be like pushing her. ohyes, that fucking bastard left his empty can drink on the seat of the bus stop.

i saw this guy @ np shooting his saliva. so young yet so unglam. tsk.

it suddenly sparked my memory of this "king & his castle" thing we used to play.
yes yes, & the "king" in my class, who was like the "laoda" liked me.
K2, & he told me that. & me & his cousin, nichole were the only 2 girls allowed on the "castle",
which is actually just one of those Little Tikes playground set.
so i suddenly thought, in those fantasy, dramas that i also loll in,
its always some childhood sweetheart, & then they go separate, & thn one day, they meet again.
these cliched stories, do they happen in real life?
up till now, i think not. maybe?
i can't rmb the name of the guy anw. i can only rmb his cousin bcos she was a really sweet girl.
& they're both like from rich families.

its been sweltering hot the past few days/night.

oh torrid singapore, you're getting hotter by the day.

reduce, reuse & recycle people, save the earth!

or living in ohsotropicallyhot singapore would turn into scorching hell.

i know thats this very great invention called the air-conditioning,

but think of how much energy you are burning when you switch on the aircon (which contributes to global warming as well), & how much electric bill you have to pay.

go for the save money, save the earth way, & you'll be living in a nicer environment too!

its $398, but im still thinking if its worth it, the trade-in value now is only $200,

which means in another 1yr+ time,
